I am a certified team psychological safety & inclusive leadership practitioner with over 11 years of experience, TEDx speaker, Top LinkedIn Voice for Gender Equity, and Forbes 30 under 30 honoree.

 

Formerly the first DEI Leader at IKEA, responsible for creating and executing a 3-year DEI strategy. Since then running a consultancy that supports organizations worldwide in boosting performance and engagement through evidence-based culture interventions.

 

I had a pleasure working with amazing clients like Deloitte, Zeiss, Puma, General Electric, ING, DHL eCommerce, Phillip Morris International, Mars, Boston Scientific, Axel Springer, ABB and many more.

I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in the psychology of diverse teams. Certified as the Fearless Organization Scan practitioner, the trainer of the Neuroscience of Breaking Bias (by the NeuroLeadership Institute) and as a trainer in GlobeSmart Profile, Team Culture, and Inclusive Inventory (by Aperian Global).

My Story

Born into diversity myself, I am the product of mixed nationalities, four languages, and three religions.

 

Moving frequently throughout my life, I experienced firsthand how diverse perspectives can be powerful assets but too often, they are overshadowed by stereotypes, silos, and biases that limit collaboration and innovation.

These experiences shaped my deep commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams, not just as a moral imperative, but as a strategic advantage for organizations and leaders.

 

I’ve dedicated my career to helping leaders and teams break through barriers, create fearless cultures, and unlock the full potential of diverse thinking.

As the DEI Leader at IKEA, I was responsible for bringing 6,000 employees and leaders on board with a culture of inclusion, trust, and high performance.

 

My role required more than just strategy; it demanded strong leadership alignment, clear communication, and a deep understanding of team dynamics to drive real change.

I worked closely with leaders to embed inclusive decision-making, psychological safety, and accountability into daily operations, ensuring that DEI wasn’t just a policy but a driver of business success.

 

Together, we achieved milestones that transformed workplace culture, including:

✅ The STORSTOMMA rainbow bag initiative, where profits were donated to charity, fostering a culture of purpose and impact.
✅ The first market-leading Paternal Leave policy, reinforcing an equitable and supportive workplace.
✅ The Refugee Skills for Employment Program, integrating diverse talent and enhancing collaboration across teams.
Gender Equal Pay initiatives, ensuring fairness and transparency in leadership and team structures.

These initiatives weren’t just about policies, they were about shaping leadership behaviors, strengthening team trust, and creating an environment where innovation and engagement thrive.
